I set a course for winds of fortune
But I hear the voices say
Why don't you wait and see what's to become
Before you head out on your way
Everything stops on a dime so for fun
Why don't you just rest and play
Interim said, forget what the head
May of told yourself then, when it begins
Endless the travesty you find yourself in
The splendor of living outweighs the consequences
Of miniscule arguments in face of our defences
Instructing a purpose of which we all hold
Waiting in darkness just to be told
There's only one shot, and it's in a room without light
Why should we fight, if they're ultimately right
But think about sight
If you didn't have it, would you blunder at night
Or would you spook with fright
At every little sound as you made your path
Homeward bound to escape infinite wrath
Think about it
